Little Yuzu by littleyuzu :)
Hello Knitty Kitty
I crocheted myself over the weekend! Well, not really myself, but rather my LJ username. :) A yuzu is a small citrus fruit, and it became my nickname many years ago. I drew my default userpic (see below) a while back and just recently decided to make an amigurumi version.

The Little Yuzu is 7" (17¾cm) tall — so I guess it's not really that "little" compared to most of my other amis, which are around 3–5" tall. I crocheted scallops to make the stem, used embroidery floss for the mouth, and sewed on orange felt circles for the cheeks. I didn't use a pattern and just made it up as I went along. I'm very happy with the result!

Happy Crocheted Pear
Hello Knitty Kitty
Long time, no post! I haven't crocheted in a couple of months. So to slowly ease back into it, I made a pear from Ana Paula Rimoli's book Amigurumi World: Seriously Cute Crochet. It's 3¾" (9½cm) tall and was a gift for a coworker whose birthday was this week.

Amigurumi desserts
Here are the two desserts I've recently created - a strawberry flavoured creamy cake, and a lemon cake with cream on top. Guaranteed zero calories!

Passion Pinapple

Made a Little Pineapple, she works up to approximately 6 inches before the leaves are attached. She is crocheted in a popcorn stitch to give that pineapply texture!

Watermelon & Strawberry Wristlet Purse

It's time for summer. Bring on the watermelon and fresh picked strawberries, Grab the grand kids and go on a picnic and have a great time and make memories.
Yes I made them for my granddaughter B-day she is going to be 2.

An apple for the (other) teacher
mice knitting
I made a little apple for my son's other teacher. He spends a lot of time in his classroom, so I figured I needed to make something for him as well. It is from the Lion Brand pattern "Amigurumi Apple" http://www.lionbrand.com/patterns/80283AD.html?noImages=. I gave mine a face because, well, it needed one!

ETA: I don't know what's up with automatically tagging my location above, but I don't live in India. I'm in Colorado. There's a pretty major difference!

Peach and orange?
I was wondering if anyone would know of any free patterns for a peach, specifically? But if you know of one for an orange, that'll be alright, too. I could probably do the orange on my own. It's the peach that has me a little concerned, since they're not perfectly round.

I have a friend who has requested a peach and an orange that could be "stuck" together to give as a gift to her mother and stepfather. I could probably just use some magnets for the "sticking together" part.

Any help would be very appreciated. Thank you!
